Aujourd'hui voici le billet que je vous ai annoncé la semaine dernière comme "triste", mais en vérité il ne l'est pas, c'est plus un billet d'espoir, et de plus vous pouvez influencer la façon dont il va évoluer (car il évoluera dans le temps, vous allez comprendre, si si !).
Et pour bien comprendre ce dont il s'agit, nous recevons aujourd'hui un invité à quatre pattes, qui va témoigner lui-même de sa propre histoire, agrémentée de quelques photographies. Je me tais et lui laisse la parole !
Bonjour je m'appelle Barnabé et j'ai vécu pendant deux ans dans la rue.
Le 30 janvier 2009 des personnes d'une association m'ont attrapé et je suis allé en famille d'accueil, j'avais très peur de ces bipèdes, mais très vite j'ai appris à les aimer eux et leur câlins.J'avais sans cesse le nez bouché et toussais bizarrement, beaucoup de tests ont été faits pour voir ce que j'avais et ils ont découvert que j'avais un staphylocoque dans le nez.
Je suis devenu pot de colle, les piqûres retard d'anti-biotiques et d'anti-inflammatoires me soulageaient même si je ne me soignais pas
Mais un jour, ce fameux 20 mars, je me suis senti très mal, Hombeline, ma maîtresse, m'a très vite emmené chez le vétérinaire, et celle ci lui a appris que je suis diabétique
J'avais 5g de glucose 
dans le sang, et même si j'étais pot de colle je n'étais pas totalement socialisé.
On a donné deux jours à Hombeline pour réussir à me faire mes deux piqûres d'insuline quotidiennes sans quoi je ne pouvais pas survivre. J'ai été un gentil chat et me suis laissé faire; à ce moment là je pensais que tout irai bien, mais non, le destin s'acharnait sur moi et j'ai eu un ulcère à l'oeil, je ne pouvais pas supporter des gouttes dans l'oeil plus les piqûres c'en était trop, j'ai donc dû être hospitalisé le 9 avril pendant 3 jours et mis sous morphine pour que la vétérinaire puisse me soigner...
Puis la vie reprend son cours avec les piqûres quotidiennes et mes petites habitudes
Et encore une fois j'ai eu un soucis, une conjonctivite à l'autre oeil et un eczéma, ce fut reparti pour les gouttes dans l'oeil. Le vétérinaire m'a fait un test de la fructosamine: pour ceux qui ne savent pas ce que c'est, c'est une moyenne de mon taux de glucose dans le sang sur un mois. Le résultat n'était pas très bon, mais normal en même temps puisque cela ne faisait pas longtemps que j'étais soigné donc on a doublé les doses d'insuline. 
Un mois s'écoula, tout allais bien, j'ai récupéré la totale mobilité de mes pattes arrières affectées à cause des hyper-glycémies, je suis passé de 2.5kg à 3.5kg (heureusement car j'étais squellettique), on refait un test de ma fructosamine, tout le monde pensait que les résultats seraient bons, mais non: nouveau coup dur, le laboratoire ne peut pas mesurer des valeurs aussi hautes et je refais une conjonctivite.
Personne ne comprend ces valeurs aussi hautes...

Voilà l'histoire de Barnabé, c'est un peu par hasard que j'ai fait la "rencontre" de ce chat, à peu près autant par hasard que ma "rencontre" avec Tilu 
!
Ainsi je vous donne le message d'Hombeline, et j'associe Barnabé au blog. Un grand merci pour votre aide, j'ai oublié de signaler que je ne suis pas la maitresse mais la famille d'accueil de Babar, c'est à dire qu'il attend une famille pour l'adopter
Nouvelle du jour, les vétérinaires ont trouvé l'explication de la hausse de glucose dans son sang, cela serait dû à toutes les petites maladies qu'il a en plus de son diabète
Nous augmentons donc la dose d'insuline que je lui injecte

Habituellement je ne fais jamais de dons aux associations, mais là ce petit chat ma touché dans mon p'tit cœur.
Malheureusement sur l'instant je n'ai pas vraiment les moyens de faire un don, mais si mes conditions financières s'améliorent, je ne manquerais pas de faire une bonne action !
Un chat qui se bat pour vivre mérite qu'on fasse tout pour qu'il reste en vie.
Ben si, c'est triste. Un chat malade, c'est toujours très triste...

juste une précision si seulement les diabète et leur entourage etait très bien informé et apliquer rigoureusement leur régime beaucoups de porbème dont souffert les diabétiques seront évités

Barnabé à maintenant besoin d'une fiole d'insuline par semaine, ce qui représente 7€ par semaine
Ses coûts mensuels s'élèvent à 60€ entre l'insuline et le vétérinaire
